Gas Prices at the pump

Here in Iowa, and probably all over the U.S and Canada the price for a gallon of gas went down by $0.09 Sept. 6th. This is after a long weekend here in the U.S. (Labor Day) where car trips are a way of life. Isn't it funny that the prices went up over $0.75 over the last week and a half, and went down $0.09 after this long weekend. I don't know, but it sure looks funny to me, how about you? I often wonder if the Big Oil Company's are trying to bring the fuel prices here in the U.S. more in line as to what the Europeans are paying, I know that our neighbors to the north are getting gouged at the pumps.
